Actress Pamela Anderson has penned an open letter to U.S. President-Elect Barack Obama - urging him to legalize marijuana, promote vegetarianism and put an end to the War in Iraq.

The former Baywatch babe, born in Canada, voted for the first time in this month’s historical presidential elections after successfully gaining dual citizenship in 2004. She is now using her voice to appeal to Obama so he can set about making changes to the law once he takes up residence in the White House in January. And among the issues on her list is a demand for tougher punishment for child abusers.

In an error-riddled missive on her website she writes, “Dear Mr. Obama: My thoughts/hopeful ideas-: “…Government must Castrate every molester-or potential molester- error (sic) on the safe side- if any child pornography is found in anyone’s possession-or anyone creating such atrocities-or if any child Is brave enough to come forward (at any young age to bring attention to a potential molester- listen) they need to be taken very seriously and see that justice is served-The abuse is way worse than any trial could be- our children need more protection and justice seen. It needs to be PREVENTED not just punished.”

“…I think we should Legalize Marijuana, tax and monitor -farm Hemp etc-this would make our borders less corrupt and then I think eventually this will be more secure option and save children in the long run - we should be able to farm Hemp in America- it’s just silly- it would create jobs- and be good for environment.”

“Bring our Troops home safely- Stop the killing and work with Veterans to secure a peaceful way world wide-using their 1st hand wisdom lovingly across all borders together. It is not a war Economy anymore- obviously.”

“…Promote vegetarianism-which would help end world hunger- crack down on factory farming that is killing the environment and slaughtering so many animals- wastefully and carelessly and it’s unhealthy/and it’s just impractical- to think this is monitored/regulated effectively.”

Alec Baldwin is kissing and telling after getting a smooch from Jennifer Aniston on 30 Rock.

“It was painful,” Baldwin joked to New York magazine at Tuesday night’s Tisch on Stage gala in NYC. Aniston, 39, played Baldwin’s free-spirited stalker on the Nov. 13 episode.

“I mean, every man who’s had to make out with her in TV and movies - I don’t know how they do it,” he added.

So does Baldwin - who has a famously contentious relationship with ex Kim Basinger - believe the show’s plot that crazy women are better lovers?

“That’s assuming I’ve been with a crazy woman,” he said, wagging his finger at the New York magazine reporter. “If I answer that question in the affirmative, that would type a woman I’ve been with as being crazy, which I really don’t feel like doing.

“But I hear it’s true - I hear from my friends it’s true,” he added.

Aniston’s appearance earned the show its lowest ratings of the season with only 7.5 million viewers. Oprah’s Nov. 6 appearance drew 8 million.

Paris Hilton and Benji Madden’s romance is over.

The pair split a few days ago after more than nine months of dating, a source close to Hilton tells PEOPLE.

“She is saddened by the breakup but they’re just too different and they wanted different things in life,” says a source close to Hilton. “He was loyal and sweet but it was time to take a break.”

Reps for both Hilton and Madden could not be reached for comment.

On Nov. 15, Paris was photographed getting cozy with ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos at nightspot Mokai in Miami. The Hilton friend says the two were simply engaged in a close but friendly conversation. “In no way are they romantic, nor do they want to get back together,” the source says.

And on Tuesday night, Hilton and Madden partied separately in L.A. – Hilton danced on top of a couch at Apple Lounge, while Madden was spotted at hotspot Coco de Ville with Nicole Richie, who dates his twin brother Joel Madden.

Both Hilton, 27, and Madden, 29, have recently denied reports that they were unfaithful to each other during their relationship. And just last month, the Good Charlotte guitarist told PEOPLE how happy he and Hilton were.

“I wear my feelings on my sleeve. I’m very open about how in love I am – Paris and I are very happy,” Madden told PEOPLE in October.

As Twilight mania is reaching a fever pitch, its male stars Robert Pattinson and Jason Rathbone have become red-hot sensations among the female population, and now the handsome threesome are opening up in a new interview in Seventeen.

Robert plays Edward, the perfect boyfriend/vampire who falls in love with a mortal. But with an onscreen relationship comes a few awkward moments!

“It’s terrifying,” he dishes about filming intimate scenes with co-star Kristen Stewart. “Especially when you kiss and you’ve got to do it at a weird angle or something. But I’m skirting the answer because I’m a really bad kisser.  That’s why I don’t want to go into details! I hadn’t kissed anyone for a while before the movie, so I’d kind of forgotten how!”

So how did the guys blow off steam after a grueling day of kissing co-stars on set and playing blood-sucking vampires?

“Rob and I both played a lot of music,” reveals Jason, who plays Jasper Cullen. “I’m in a  band, and Rob’s also a musician, a singer-songwriter. We went to an open-mic night a couple times that was right next door to the hotel. The first time, we just got  up onstage and jammed with [Twilight costars] Nikki Reed and Kristen Stewart. It was fun!”

The FAA has released the air traffic control audio from the plane crash involving DJ AM and Travis Barker on September 19. You can hear the pilot asking the air traffic controller for clearance, then the audio skips to the ATC calmly instructing emergency response crews to the scene.

In the wake of recent news that naughty photos of Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon had made their way onto the internet, OK! has confirmed that the Disney pop trio is no longer slated to be a part of a huge holiday tradition — the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade in NYC.

Of course, while we’re hearing that it is indeed the nude pix of Adrienne that have removed the Cheetahs from Macy’s roll call of superstars for next week’s parade, the official line from the department store tells a different story.

“Performer confirmations are always fluid and subject to change for any live event,” a rep for Macy’s tells OK! in a statement. “In fact we just received confirmations of three new acts this week. The Cheetah Girls were scheduled to appear in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, but due to scheduling issues they could not make it.”

Yeah… scheduling conflicts. Because they had something to do on Thanksgiving other than make a high-profile appearance on a parade that is watched by millions of people around the world.
